Deadly Shooting at Club Exotic
March 22, 2026

STATUS: ARRESTED
On March 22, 2026, at approximately 1:45 am, deputies were dispatched to a deadly conduct at Club Exotic located at 11840 Hwy 64 W in Tyler. It was reported that there were multiple gunshot victims at the location. Deputies were also informed the suspect left the location in a vehicle.

Upon arrival of deputies, two deceased (male) gunshot victims were located in the parking lot. A third (female) victim was located inside of the club with a gunshot wound to the leg. A tourniquet was applied by deputies and the victim was transported to UT Main by UT EMS with non-life-threatening injuries. It was then learned that a fourth (female) victim had arrived at Christus by personal vehicle with a gunshot wound to the leg. The latest information received about this victim was that she was in surgery with injuries believed to be non-life-threatening.

A crime scene was established at which time the criminal investigation division and crime scene unit responded. It is possible that other shooters may be involved. Smith County Investigators have identified at least one suspect.

This investigation is ongoing and more information will be released as it becomes available.

Valley Blues Club Shooting
December 28, 2025

STATUS: ARRESTED

On December 28th, 2025, at approximately 02:40 AM, a shooting occurred at 5222 County Road 486, Valley Blues Club, Tyler, Texas 75706, in Smith County. During the shooting multiple people fired shots and exchanged gun fire with each other. Two subjects were shot; one was killed and the other was wounded and taken to the hospital.
